Grodan Stonewool is a proven hydroponics growing medium preferred by garden enthusiasts everywhere. This 36 inch x 12 inch x 3 inch Delta Expert Gro-Slab is perfect for blocking-on smaller stonewool plugs and blocks to accommodate the final stages of plant growth. This single Delta Slab features vertically packed fibers for quick drainage and comes in a UV-resistant plastic poly sleeve to minimize algae formation.
The final stage of planting is the Grodan Delta slabs. There are three slab types available in a variety of sizes. These slabs come in clearly marked biodegradable UV resistant poly sleeves.
The poly sleeves have several functions;
- Comfort in handling.
- Preventing algae growth.
- Preventing roots and diseases from moving easily from slab to slab.
- Minimizing evaporation.
